Today is a new day. Yesterday is gone, what’s done is done. Today you can begin again. God can make all things new.
Put zero confidence in the flesh yet hold forth Jesus. In his name we can begin again. Don’t dwell on the past.
The supremacy of God made that visible with the creation of the earth.
The First Day: Light
3And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
The Second Day: Firmament
6And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which wereunder the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. 8And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
The Third Day: Dry Ground
9And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. 10And God called the dry landEarth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. 11And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.12And the earth brought forth grass, andherb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed wasin itself, after his kind: and God saw thatit was good. 13And the evening and the morning were the third day.
God is the author of all things. The universe has an originator, his name is Jesus. He is here now. Don’t look back, keep your eyes on Jesus.
He will lead us on from here. It’s not important where you come from. What matters is Jesus will meet you here and you can begin again.
Don’t be afraid I’ve redemed you, I called your name, you are mine. When your in over your head, I’ll be there with you. When your in rough water you won’t go down.
Isaiah [1:16]-20 KJV
16Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;17Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.18Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. 19If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: 20But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken [it].
Today is the day to repent and turn from our sin. God’s word says in Acts [3:19] KJV
“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;”
2 Corinthians [5:15]-19 KJV
15And [that] he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. 16Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we [him] no more. 17Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Chose this day whom you will serve.
God we thank you that nothing can separate us from your great love when we surrender our lives to serve you.
