Here you go folks. In Donalds own words reguarding God and Faith.- Daniel Crane
2 Timothy 3 says for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.
Donald Trump talks about God, forgiveness, religion and John McCain. Dividing the party, dividing the country too full of self.
Humility is necessary to the service of God. Christ was an example of humility. Those who have humility are regarded by God, heard by God, enjoy the presence of God, delivered by God, lifted up by God, and exalted by God. Those who have humility are the greatest in Christ’s kingdom. Humility is before honor. Saints should put on humility, be clothed with humility, walk with humility, and beware of false humility. Saints should imitate the humility of Christ.
Pride is a sin, and hateful to God and Christ. Pride often originates in: self-righteousness, religious privileges, in unsanctified knowledge, in experience, and in possession of power and of wealth. Pride is forbidden and defiles a man. Pride hardens the mind and is a hindrance to seeking God and to improvement. Pride comes from the heart and leads men to contempt and rejection of God’s word and ministers. Pride leads men to a persecuting spirit, to wrath, to contention and to self-deception. Pride is followed by shame, debasement, and destruction. They who are guilty of pride shall be: resisted, brought into contempt, recompensed, marred, subdued, brought low, abased, scattered and punished.
Repentance is commanded to all by God. Christ came to call sinners to repentance. Repentance is necessary to the pardon of sin. It was preached by Christ, John the Baptist, by the apostles, and in the name of Christ. There is joy in heaven over one sinner brought to repentance. Repentance should be evidenced by fruits, and should be accompanied by: humility, shame and confusion, self-abhorrence, confession, faith, prayer, accompanied by conversion, by turning from sin and from idolatry. The wicked are averse to repentance, and not led to repentance by the judgments of God. The wicked neglect the time given for repentance and are condemned for it.
