Strip searches conducted in effort to identify mystery pooper

A school in Gustine, Texas, has come under intense criticism after it forced 11 year old students to undergo an underwear inspection after poop was found on the floor of the school gym.

Local ABC affiliate WFAA News reports that around two dozen elementary students were rounded up and made to partake in a partial strip search by teachers in an effort to identify the culprit.

The teachers are said to have separated the boys and girls into different rooms and, according to one parent, demanded that they “pull down their pants to check them to see if they could find anything.”

Presumably teachers believed that they could punish whichever students had the dirtiest underwear.

“I felt uncomfortable, and I didn’t want to do it,” said 11-year-old Eliza Medina. “I felt like they violated my privacy.”

“I said I didn’t want to, but I was told I had to because all the kids had to,” the girl added, noting that she and the other students were ordered to lower their knickers “Like… to where your butt is.”

I really hate posting these kinds of stories, but this is how far the “it takes a village” mentality has gone. They really do see those kids as “theirs to do with as they see fit”. I can’t even find the words anymore to speak on an incident such as this. Sickening, reprobate, regardless whether there was anyone getting their jollies in it, those kids have been violated in the most egregious way.
