WARREN, S.C. – A South Carolina man who lost his wallet while traveling out of state had his money and credit cards returned to him anonymously by a Christian who simply included a note providing the biblical inspiration for their good deed.

Bruce Rylant recently stopped for gas while returning home from a trip to Atlanta, Georgia. While he is not sure at exactly what point he misplaced his wallet, he remembers using his credit card for the transaction.

“I must have actually put my wallet on top of the car, on the trunk, and drove off without thinking about it,” he told local television station WTOC.

It wasn’t until he returned home that Rylant realized his wallet was gone—with $305 in cash inside. He called the gas station to see if someone might have turned it in, but nothing had come up. A week passed, and still nothing.
