Aside from the typical celebratory stuff associated with Veterans Day like free meals and oil changes, I’d like to think that as a country, our recognition of service members is a sign both of gratitude for what we sacrifice and of the health of ourselves as a country.
I know that I love my country. I do believe however that we serve not only to protect The American people, but our brothers and sisters along side us. The love for my fellow brothers is a bond which will remain unbroken.
On this one day of the year we call Veterans Day, please recognize the sacrifices that the 1 percent of us make… Not just for myself but for the other service members who day in and day out make possible both peace and The American Dream.
