Connecticut officials say a worker at a sewage treatment plant in Stamford found the broken body of a deceased premature baby who had been flushed down the toilet. The baby was reportedly found on Saturday.
A local ABC television report indicates police are working with the medical examiner’s office in an attempt to get enough DNA from the baby to determine the identity of the mother.
According to the report, “Investigators tell WFSB that the fetus was about six months along and found in two pieces at the treatment plant inside a dumpster. The fetus was wrapped up in tissue products.”
