In Genesis 11: 1-9, we are told of an ancient society that sought their own will to build a tower that would elevate their very existence for generations to come. The people of Shinar (known as Babylon) wanted to make a name for themselves and they delighted in their own understanding that they had one language, one society, and the means to build such a tower. The Tower of Babel was not only built for grand awe but also to honor ancient pagan priests of the stars or commonly known as astrology.

Astrology, is a religion based on the worship of the sun, moon, planets, and stars. The people of Babylon believed they could plot the outcomes of their lives through the use of astrology which is not following God by any means.

This would be considered a direct rebellion against God’s plan for man because God clearly states in Leviticus 26:1–“You shall not make idols for yourselves or erect an image or pillar, and you shall not set up a figured stone in your land to bow down to it, for I am the Lord your God.”

It is then that God commands the Holy Trinity to descend upon the earth and immediately change their speech to babble which means “confusion” so that they would not understand one another seen in verses 5-9 in Genesis 11.

How does this relate to modern day times and the “New World Order”?

On February 4, 1962 it was announced that we were now entering the “Age of Aquarius” and a “New Age” that no longer was concerned with Christianity as the guiding law for people of the earth as directly communicated here:

What does this have to do with the “New World Order”?
I’m glad you asked. The New World Order is built on a Freemason belief system (commonly known today as the “Illuminati”) that dates back to the Middle Ages and is currently being used in the United States of America. Here is the goal of the Freemasons:

God never intended for us to have such an organization to create a “New World Order”. He warns us of the consequences of adopting such ways in Genesis 11 and again in Leviticus 26:1. If you are a student of the Bible I’m sure you can think of passages in Daniel, Matthew, and Revelations that warns of this and the coming of the Antichrist. When God cast Lucifer out of heaven he was given rule over this world. Satan is considered “Prince of the World” and his schemes are divisive and he perverts the creation of God. He seeks to destroy because he wants the world to bow down and worship him just as God is.

In conclusion, we can now see just as the people of Babylon sought to make a name for themselves that even today man is seeking to continue this desire to be a god and believing they are God. My advice to you is to put as much energy as possible into a daily devotional time with prayer and scripture to keep you anchored to God in a world that is falling away.
